Pool + Terrace Landscape

The design of this family leisure extension creates a new plane reaching out to all corners of its site to incorporate a pool, a pool bar, a terrace and a variety of seating arrangements.

Situated on a slope the structure becomes a landscaped bridge between the different levels. The pool, seemingly without a confinement on one side, lets the water cascade like a waterfall towards the lower part of the property. The technicalities of water conditioning are expressed in a sculpted wall of stainless steel leading the water via a canal into the buried mechanical equipment room.

To support the terrace and to shape its entire insertion into the site, reddish pigmented concrete with a chiseled finish, creates an undulating and plastic element within the garden.
